Entraction Network Closing
RakebackSafe.com News September 13 - 2012We have just got the word that Entraction/IGT Network is closing in December 2012, and as a result we are posting this warning!
Termination notices has been sent to many, but not all skins on Entraction network. It´s most likely going to be a mess, some small sites might close their doors, and the rest of the sites need to find a new poker network fast. This is most likely going to generate a run on the bank at IGT network sites. Who knows if all these poker sites have money to pay everybody? Experience from the past clearly shows that many sites use player funds for operational costs, even tho they are supposed to have all player funds ringfenced in seperate bank accounts according to the license rules at LGA (Malta).
We reccommend to cashout right away, don´t be the last one to cashout!
IGT network has nearly 50 poker sites within their network. 1 of them (NoiQ Poker) was listed here at RakebackSafe.com but we have removed them for the time being.
The U.S. company, IGT (listed on the New York Stock Exchange) bought the Entraction network in 2011 for $108 Million, and re-branded to "IGT Network", since then the american owners started to follow all rules and laws in other countries, and the network stopped doing business in several countries (Russia, Norway, Cyprus Greece, Spain, Belgium + more), and now they are getting ready for the U.S. market to be legalized and regulated. So apparently now they decided to close the whole network.
