Cake Poker Leaving The US
RakebackSafe.com News September 26 - 2012It seems like Cake Poker is leaving the U.S.! We have just got the news that Cake Poker will be migrating all existing U.S. player accounts to Juicy Stakes, and they will stop accepting new players from USA.
The migration of players is scheduled to happen on September 27th, 2012. All player balances, gold chips, and VIP stuff will be transfered over to Juicy Stakes aswell. We don´t know yet if players will keep their existing rakeback deals.
This migration does not affect players from all sites on the network, but the following sites are affected: Cake Poker, Colt Poker, Fugu Poker and Hilife Poker). Cake Poker recently sold the network, and it has since been rebranded to "Revolution Gaming Network", and is now owned by Lock Poker who still accept players from USA. As a result of all this CakePoker has been removed from RakeackSafe.com for the time being as we believe there are better sites on the network.
Cake Poker has been using a .eu domain for a long time in order to prevent the U.S. government confiscating their domain name and shut down the site. Here at RakebackSafe.com we are wondering why players all of a sudden are will be migrated in a hurry to a less safe .com domain which could be confiscated by the DoJ. This is not a good move for players safety and should raise some concern! Reportedly, Cake Poker owned Juicy Stakes before they sold the network to Lock Poker, but at the moment we don´t know if CakePoker, Lock Poker or someone elso owns the site.

After this news post was made, it has been announced that Juicy Stakes has moved to a .eu domain!
